The annual First Parish Church Harvest Food Drive helps our neighbors who are struggling to feed their families. All the non-perishable foods contributed by the congregation will be donated to food pantries serving the local community.

The Missions Committee, the High School Youth Group, the Solace Youth Group, and the Sunday School are all cooperating in this important effort. Beginning October 14 we will be collecting non-perishable food items and will continue to accept items for the rest of the month. There will be a brief Ingatheirng Dedication ceremony at the Sunday service on October 21.

Please donate foods in non-breakable containers or sturdy packaging. We hope to collect items such as canned fruits and vegetables, canned fish or meat, soups, meals in a can (beef stew, Spaghetti O’s, etc.) peanut butter, jelly, coffee and tea, boxed rice,
pilaf and couscous, dry pasta, cereal…

All nutritious foods and staples will be gratefully received!

Items can be dropped off in the bin outside the Chapel conference room or in the basket in the Narthex. If you prefer to have food donations picked up at your home,
call Alice Eastland at (978) 282-1858 to make arrangements or send email to alice@shoreview.com.
