November Youth Events

There is a lot going on this month. Make sure to sign-up here!

Christmas Fair (11/16 9 am – 2 pm)

  • “Crash Sunday” is 11/3, starting at 11 am, immediately after church. We need all the hands we can get! Youth, stay late after Sunday School, Confirmation students, come a little early, and parents can come, too! Includes setting up classrooms for the fair and bringing all the items for sale for the fair into the appropriate rooms.
  • Can you sell raffle tickets before the fair, or during the fair? Let Emelia or Martha Alder know!
  • Grades 6 – 8 are invited to come and price items for the fair (a Middle School Youth Group tradition!)

 

Jared Hamilton’s Ordination (11/3 @ 3 pm)

  • Help celebrate Jared in this very special occassion. There’s lots to do to help prepare, including cleaning the church, baking cookies and brownies, and even ushering during the service. Even just being present! All are welcome to attend the service.
  • We are looking for 6 youth to sign-up to bake brownies and cookies. Leave them in the kitchen on 11/3, and sign-up here!

 

High School Youth Opportunities

  • Bonfire Night on 11/8 from 6:30 to 8 pm. Location TBD. All youth grades 9 – 12 are invited for some bonfire fun (and s’mores of course!)
  • Get some community service hours with Trail Work Day through Manchester Conservation Trust on 11/9 Visit www.mect.org for details
  • Help feed the hungry by sorting our collection from the Harvest Food Drive on 11/3 from 10 am to 11 am

 

Middle School Youth Opportunities

  •  Sunday Morning Solace continues this month! We’re meeting on 11/3 and 11/17, from 10 am to 11 am
  • Pizza & Pricing (see Christmas Fair above)
  • On 10/10 we’ll help with the Center on Aging baskets with the Sunday School classes
